Salary £18 to £21K depending on experience
The Cashier is responsible for the management and control of financial transactions of a busy insolvency practice. The role requires the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workloads. Strong cashiering experience is required with experience of insolvency cashiering desirable.
Good internal and external customer service skills are required along with experience of working with databases.
1 Handling transactions for internal and clients’ accounts.
2 Dealing with queries and obtaining authorisation from internal colleagues
3 Bank reconciliation
4 Preparing and authorising electronic bank transfers
5 Monitor and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions
6 Posting disbursements
7 Database (IPS) entries and management
Skills Microsoft packages (Word, Excel) Experience of IPS database package.
Good communication skills face to face and by phone
Willingness to learn and progress
Conscientious with excellent attention to detail
